Advocates
Our Housing Advocates Program brings community members together to build knowledge, share resources, and take action on the issues shaping our neighborhoods. Participants learn about local housing opportunities, community development, and how civic systems work, gaining a clearer understanding of how to navigate and influence them. Advocates play an important role in collecting community insights, informing policy, and advocating for the investments needed to keep our communities rooted.

Community
Workshops
Throughout the year, we host workshops and information sessions with housing partners to share updates on affordable rental and homeownership opportunities, helping community members stay informed and connected to real pathways for housing. We also convene project-based workshops during the development process, creating space for residents to shape new housing, from design and amenities to affordability and overall vision, so projects reflect community needs and priorities. Economic
Empowerment
Economics for Emancipation focuses on building financial knowledge and economic power within underrepresented communities. Through education and tools centered on equity, this program helps individuals and families better understand financial systems, strengthen economic stability, and move toward long-term housing security.
Tenant Resources
For direct support in navigating systems, accessing utility discount programs and unemployment benefits, or for help securing housing, managing evictions or tenant disputes, connect with our partner organization Villa Comunitaria.
